Alex's Birthday is usually near Father's day, and this year they were just two days apart.
This Alex turned 12 years old, and he was ecstatic for his birthday. For about two weeks prior he would not let us forget his birthday was coming up. And when the day finally came he was so hyped the whole day.
We started the day with cinnamon rolls and presents. After the delicious cinnamon rolls, he opened his presents to see The fourth illustrated Harry Potter book, a Harry Potter cookbook, Harry Potter Perler bead patterns, the starter set for dungeons and dragons, and to his surprise a Fish! He was told later that day he would go to the pet store and pick out a Betta Fish. He has been asking for a fish for quite some time, so his wish was finally granted.

Welcome to the family Darvil! |
After setting up the fish tank we all enjoyed some HEB cake. It was delicious.
For Father's day, we got him cupcakes and a hilarious photo of Carson looking royal.

Earlier that week my Dad and I biked the San Antonio Mission Trail and visited many historical sites. The pictures tell the story.

And yet again COVID is spiking. Here is San Antonio we've been getting an average of 350 cases a day. And Texas, over 3,750, Because of a premature reopening, and a complete disregard of health. We are running into a similar situation. This isn't a second wave, but just another jump on the first one. Be smarter than your government and stay home.
