COVID-19 and High School

As time goes on things keep looking worse and worse. School is supposed to start in four weeks and Band camp two weeks sooner. But as the mayor and TEA keep announcing changes, the likelihood of marching band and in-person teaching is quickly fading. The majority of summer has been stuck at home, and we only go out to go to Splashtown or Six Flag's waterpark to cool off. My frequent bike trips have slowed to the heat of summer in Texas. So far in San Antonio, we've almost reached a total of 30,000 cases, and the U.S reporting over 3,7 million cases. I don't know when we'll get past this pandemic, but it looks like normal isn't coming anytime soon.
